This was my first Pandemic piece. I was making simple soothing paintings for about a month and then my brain exploded and out came THIS. I moved from New York City temporarily to Montana, a car filled with toilet paper, a teenager, and FEELINGS. The skyline, the arrows, the word “quiet” that is barely visible…. the playful goofiness of pink and feeling completely lost in the world. That’s what I was working with. My husband came down to my studio when I was done, looked at it and said, “Yep. That’s about right.”
